Founded in October 2012 as ZTE's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nubia Technology is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It became an independent company in 2015. In 2017, ZTE reduced its stake in Nubia to 49.9 percent. Nubia now has operations around the world including North America, South America, Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia, and India. Nubia's latest mobile launch is the Z50 Ultra. The mobile was launched in 7th March 2023. The phone comes with a 6.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2480 pixels by 1116 pixels.

The Nubia Z50 Ultra is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nubia Z50 Ultra packs a 64-megapixel + 64-megapixel + 50-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel (f/f/2.0) front shooter for selfies.

The Nubia Z50 Ultra runs Android 13 and is powered by a 5000mAh. It measures 163.90 x 76.30 x 8.30 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 228.00 grams.

The Nubia Z50 Ultra is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared and USB Type-C.
