OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company's claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too.
OnePlus has long been known mainly for its smartphones in India. However, over the past three years or so, it has also introduced smart TVs, monitors, personal audio products, and smartwatches. The company also designs and sells its own smartphone accessories along with backpacks and other travel gear. At a recent event, the brand even announced its own mechanical keyboard which has yet to go on sale in India.
Although Nord is OnePlus' designated ‘affordable' product line, its products aren't entry-level by any measure. The recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G (Review) is a good example of how even the company's starter products are still quite well-equipped and capable, an approach which applies to the product that I'm reviewing here too, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. The successor to the original Nord Buds, this second-generation version has been launched at the same price, but with significant upgrades to the feature set and performance.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is official in India. The new mainstream 5G smartphone is one of the company's most affordable Nord-branded phones, and it is the successor to the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G (Review). The Nord CE 3 Lite 5G gets notable upgrades in some areas while some aspects have stayed the same. Thankfully for consumers, the phone's launch price is the same as the outgoing model. The big question is whether you should give the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G an affirmative nod, or look at other phones around this segment? Here is our review to help you decide.
